
Numerous Ohioans in need will not go without some basic essentials this summer thanks to generous donations from Coca-Cola Consolidated and their employees. Throughout the month of April, over one thousand total items were collected and distributed to charity organizations in cities all across the buckeye state.
Toledo
120 cans of fruit and vegetables along with 100 snack packs were donated to Mom's House of Toledo, a non-profit organization that provides child care assistance and other resources for single mothers in the area.
Willoughby
242 food items were donated to Country Neighbor, which provides food to 24 pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens in Ashtabula County.
Youngstown
Over 300 pairs of socks (pictured above) were given to families at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley. They provide a number of services, including offering short-term emergency overnight shelter for singles, married couples, and full families.
Zanesville
The Salvation Army of Zanesville received a donation of 726 pairs of socks collected among the distribution and sales teams.
