The Ohio Beverage Association congratulates G&J Pepsi employee Brian Sloan for being named a recipient of PepsiCo's Chairman's Circle of Champions award. Sloan is the assistant production and warehouse manager for the Franklin Furnace location and has been with G&J Pepsi for 26 years, originally working in the sales department. The Chairman's Circle of Champions is PepsiCo's highest honor for the frontline operations team, and is awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence in safety, quality, service, cost, sustainability, and people skills. Only one-tenth of one percent of the global operations team is inducted into the Chairman's Circle of Champions each year.
"Brian is a role model for Franklin Furnace," said Rod Armstrong, Senior Director of Operations. "The employees have the utmost respect for Brian because of his honesty and willingness to listen whether business or personal...Brian continues to balance the needs of the organization, plus the needs of the employees to develop a plan that works for all."
