Here is an excerpt from our friends at the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities recognizing G&J Pepsi Columbus leadership:
On June 28th hundreds of individuals in recovery joined the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Mental Health, Addiction Services, Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Boards from throughout Ohio, and Peg's Foundation, for Ohio’s 2022 Recovery Celebration: Growing Stronger Together.
During the event individuals celebrated, connected, and strengthened their recovery as they engaged with empowering speakers, activities, food, and entertainment throughout the day! Ohio PRO, Ohio Citizen Advocates for Addiction Recovery, NAMI Ohio, and the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation also participated in the event, providing resources for individuals and family members in attendance.
OACBHA wants to extend a special thank you to G&J Pepsi for providing a donation and supporting the event! The event was free for all attendees, and we can only do that because of the support of organizations like G&J Pepsi and the Ohio Beverage Association. Celebrating recovery together helps us all grow stronger and remember that Recovery Is Beautiful!
