G&J Pepsi Supports Local Agencies Across Their Territory this Holiday Season

ADOPT-A-TEEN

The Cincinnati headquarters office supported an Adopt-A-Teen program through CHOICES (Children Having Options In Caring Environments). CHOICES is a non-profit organization recognized as a leader in foster care, youth mental health, independent living, and family preservation services in Southwest Ohio. The teen they adopted is named Autumn and has been participating in a transitional independent living/ bridge program that helps teens that are too old to be adopted and are being emancipated and starting their own lives.

The Cincinnati team provided her with a positive start as they went above and beyond her Wishlist providing gift cards to her favorite restaurants and shops, cozy blankets (including a Mtn Dew Snuggie), bedding, room décor, and her Super Santa wishes of a Keurig and an ice maker.  Autumn is grateful for our donations and the support of the Pepsi team.

G&J Pepsi also donated CSD products for the annual CHOICES Christmas party, a night for foster parents, foster kids, and Adopt-A-Teens to celebrate, feel supported, and have fun.

FOOD DRIVES

G&J’s Eastern Ohio Market held it annual food drive to support hunger relief programs in Athens and Franklin Furnace, Ohio. The Athens team collected 407 non-perishable food items for the Athens County Food Pantry. Additionally, the team donated 96 cases of products. The Franklin Furnace office collected 400 items to be donated to the River Cities Harvest.

Teammates in G&J’s Central Ohio Market once again supported the St. Stephen’s Community House by collecting items for food baskets to sustain families during the holiday season. Christmas Cares, in its 69th year, a program that evolved from the Christmas Basket Program in 1954 has traditionally served eight zip codes in Franklin County.
