Updated: Sep 13, 2021

Summer is the time for community events and outdoor activities, especially since many of last year's seasonal festivities were put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With hot and humid temperatures felt all across Ohio this summer, our members provided beverages and other items for several events and charity organizations to help keep everyone safe, healthy, and hydrated.

Coca-Cola Consolidated Columbus donated six barrels to Ohio Youth Development to be converted into water barrels, which will be used to supply water to the Havenwood International Community Garden. Additionally, CCC Akron made a monetary donation to the Ronald McDonald House of Akron during their annual fundraiser.

G&J Pepsi Columbus provided water and sports drinks for Columbus Recreation & Parks' youth wheelchair basketball "Try It" event, as well as the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Policy Conference at Salt Fork State Park.

Keurig Dr Pepper Columbus donated beverages to Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services for their Olympics themed Annual Youth Summit event, held at various locations all around Central Ohio.

PepsiCo Beverages North America Lima provided a variety of beverages as part of Love Bread Christ's Tuesday Free Meals at Liberty Baptist Church in Van Wert, Ohio. Meanwhile, PBNA Twinsburg donated water to the Autism Society of Greater Akron for their Family Fun Day event. Also, PBNA Mansfield made a monetary donation in support of the Ashland Veterans Appreciation Day event.
