Sam Hubbard to help deliver meals to children in need - 247sports.com
Sam Hubbard knows a thing or two about stepping up. The defensive end made a fast rise during his four seasons at Ohio State from 2014-17 and was a freshman All-American and an All-Big Ten honoree. He then was a third-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft by his hometown Cincinnati Bengals and has proven to be a productive young defensive end in the NFL. Photo: 247sports.com
Hubbard doesn't just step on the field, however. In early April, the third-year Bengal defensive end created a fundraising initiative with a local Cincinnati food bank to help provide meals to those that don't have them during the coronavirus pandemic. That fundraiser was a success and now Hubbard is back at it.
On Tuesday, Hubbard announced on his personal Twitter page that he is teaming up with PepsiCo to deliver meals to children in need. But he needs your help.
PepsiCo provided a donation of chia bars and muffins for those in need to the Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security.
