Leadership of Keep Columbus Beautiful, and Columbus Green Team members enjoyed an "eco focused" tour G&J Pepsi in Columbus! The group spent the afternoon touring the facility and learning how the facility is approaching zero waste.
Mike Niehaus led the group which included the Director of Keep Columbus Beautiful Aryeh Alex, and members of the Columbus Green Team including Tim Swauger, Division of Refuse Collection Administrator, Randy Borntrager, Assistant Director of Public Service, and Public Relations Specialist Charles Newman. Guests were impressed with the company's focus on PET recycling and measuring all facility sustainability measures including water and energy conservation.
