Coca-Cola Consolidated Helps Prepare Kids for Back-to-School

In August, Coca-Cola Consolidated partnered with Kroger for the Backpack Buddy Program to serve children of the community in Amanda, Ohio. Thanks to their joint efforts, they were able to assemble 250 backpacks for students at Amanda-Clearcreek Primary Center.

Located in Fairfield County, Amanda-Clearcreek Primary has an enrollment of nearly 400 students, including preschool, kindergarten, and first and second grades.

Volunteers filled the backpacks with Dasani, 2% Fairlife milk, and a notebook. The Kroger Company provided kid-friendly snacks, which were included, as well. This project was successful thanks to the efforts of all involved with the planning, preparation, and execution of such a worthwhile cause.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who pitched in and made a difference! Pictured below: Lisa Mannon, Jane Drozin, Penny Hall, Brian Clay, Angela Decker, Ben Brooks, Melissa Nutter (Soto), Todd Lupher, Sam Meiner, Charles Foster, Lorena Stephens, Tanya Pinder, and Ali Gormley.
