G&J Pepsi Helping Communities in Need


This holiday season, G&J Pepsi facilitated several efforts to help the communities they serve. Projects included community giving and employee involvement.


Food Drive to Support St. Stephens Christmas Cares Program

G&J Pepsi once again supported the ​​​​​​​SSCH and the Central Ohio Labor Council, as they prepare food baskets to sustain families during the holiday season. Christmas Cares/Unions Share, in its 68th year, a program that evolved from the Christmas Basket Program in 1954 that has traditionally served eight zip codes in Franklin County. Because of the economic fallout of the pandemic and the financial burden that has been placed on thousands of families, the program now serves all of Franklin County.


Between November 7 to December 8, G&J collected specific items to assist SSCH reach their goal of providing as many food baskets as possible this year. G&J employees were asked to provide boxed macaroni & cheese dinners and boxed or bagged potato mixes/meals.


Support For The Eastern Market's 2022 Holiday Food Drive

G&J's eastern market locations hosted a food drive to support various hunger relief organizations in advance of the holiday season. Between November 1 - December 19, G&J teammates in Athens, Zanesville and Franklin Furnace were asked to donate non-perishable food items. Donations were given to the Athens County Food Pantry, River Cities Harvest, and Christ's Table.


G&J Hamilton Collecting Donations to Help School-Age Children

Employees in G&J’s Hamilton location held a toiletry collection to benefit The Caring Closet and Hamilton City Schools. The Caring Closet will provide the personal hygiene necessities to school-aged children in the Hamilton school district throughout the year.
